Everyone expects the average German to live with the guilt of Nazi atrocity for the rest of their lives. But when it comes to the past crimes of countries like US, UK or France, they are considered blemish of history. This is the core of racism. One group failing to realise that their privileged position was built upon the blood and suffering of the ancestors of the deprived section of society. We cannot adequately address the injustices of the present if we are uncomfortable talking about injustices of the past.
